Emergency Care

Emergencies can happen when you least expect them. While we hope your pet never has an emergency, we want you to be prepared, and to call us immediately if an emergency is taking place during our business hours. A pet emergency may be indicated by one or more of the following:

  • Labored breathing or difficulty breathing
  • Seizures
  • Foaming at the mouth
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Excessive bleeding
  • Fever
  • Heatstroke
  • Ingestion of a toxic plant/food/substance
  • Lethargy
  • An allergic reaction
  • Traumatic injury
  • Collapse
  • Choking/gagging
  • Inability to move bowels or urinate
  • Bleeding from the nose
